An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Training and Compliance Team for a part time Health & Safety Assistant, working 7.25 hours per week. You will be responsible for the administration of our Health and Safety systems across both of our sites in Burslem and Hanchurch, as well as undertaking regular H&S checks and tests.
The ideal candidate must be well organised and able to prioritise a busy work schedule, as well as use their initiative. Ideally you will already have some experience in operating Health & Safety systems; however, training will be provided. It is essential to have good communication skills both verbal and written as you will liaise with staff, volunteers and contractors and you should be confident in the use of a computer. You must have a full driving licence as our site at Hanchurch is not serviced by regular public transport.
Salary: £3,268 per annum, plus staff benefits
