Part Time Cash Office Administrator – Fixed Term Contract

UCB is looking to recruit a part time Cash Office Administrator for a fixed term period of nine months to assist with the receipting and processing of incoming mail together with the processing of all donations received through the post in preparation for banking. 

The successful candidate will have a good standard of numeracy and literacy and be able to demonstrate attention to detail as the role requires the accurate documentation of both post and banking figures.

The hours of work will be 18.75 per week, some flexibility may be required due to the nature of the role.

Part Time Purchasing Officer

Our busy Finance Team are looking to appoint a part time Purchasing Officer working 18.75 hours per week.  The role involves processing requests for the purchase of goods and services across the whole organisation; obtaining quotes and comparative prices before raising and issuing purchase orders. In addition it will also be necessary to manage relationships and contracts with existing suppliers.

The ideal candidate will have good interpersonal and communication skills, both face to face and on the telephone; being able to provide advice on product ranges in a timely manner. The candidate must be computer literate and have a keen eye for detail, have good organisational and administration skills, together with a positive can do attitude and the ability to prioritise a demanding but enjoyable role.

This position is based at our Operations Centre, Westport Road, Burslem, Stoke on Trent ST6 4JF.

UCB is looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to help with the administration of our Health and Safety systems across both of our sites in Burslem and Hanchurch, as well as assisting with routine H&S checks and tests.

The ideal volunteer must be well organised, able to use their initiative and work accurately. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential and you should be confident in the use of a computer. Any necessary training to fulfil the role will be given. You must have a full driving licence as our site at Hanchurch is not serviced by regular public transport.

Volunteer - Company Wide Positions
 
United Christian Broadcasters has some exciting opportunities for enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about UCB and the work that we do. If you have a few hours to spare each week and want to get involved in helping advance God's Kingdom then we want to hear from you!

We currently have volunteer positions at both our Operations Centre in Burslem and Broadcasting Centre in Hanchurch. Our departments are diverse and require a range of people with different skills and abilities; you could be involved in tasks such as booking guests for a radio show, researching content for one of our publications, helping keep our buildings clean or packing material to be sent out to supporters.

We are looking for reliable volunteers who can contribute to the work of the ministry. If you have good communication skills, are well organised, reliable and can work independently or as a team player then come and get involved! Some roles will require volunteers who are computer literate or have good administration skills; whatever your abilities we would love to hear from you.
