The 'Word for Today' really makes a difference to people’s lives, to hear & read stories of faith. I pray more people will tune in & support UCB. This world needs you! Keep up the fantastic work God has given you. You are doing it well & I know God will bless you for that.
Marcea AshbyI’ve been a member of a church all my life but there has always been something missing. One evening on cable TV, my daughter came across UCB. The presenter spoke about how God loves unconditionally and how He sent his Son, Jesus, to die for us; explaining if we believed in Him we’ll be saved. I broke down in tears and sensed God’s love absolutely change my life. I started getting “Word for Today” and am now involved in UCB Prayerline. My life isn’t the same and had I not been listening that morning, I wouldn’t have heard the full gospel. It’s the best thing to happen to me, and I can’t help thanking God.
MargaretJust turned on UCB and heard the song “Blessed be Your Name”. 4 years ago my daughter, Rebecca had a very bad fall and almost died. I remember sitting by her bed in intensive care and saying these words over and over again, "you give and take away, but I will chose to say, blessed be Your name". The Lord did give Rebecca back after a major head operation and long recovery period. Sometimes it really is a choice to bless His name especially in times of pain, but we have to bless Him through good and bad, even the road is marked with suffering. Great song, love UCB, you keep me going and remind me of England.
