Heading off to uni?

…take some time to pray about and reflect on how God can use you. Here at UCB, we’ve been inspired by the story of Esther in the Bible. Why not give it a read? (If you haven’t read this book before, you can find it in the Old Testament.) It tells the story of a young orphan Jew living in Persia, who discovered God’s purpose for her life by trusting in Him. She had the courage to face the dangers in front of her and waited for God’s perfect timing in obedience to Him.

During Lent, we’ll be looking at these four themes from the story of Esther. Together we’ll be exploring what they mean and discovering that if we allow God to work within us, they can become themes for our lives too. We’d love your help to reach more people this Lent. Click here to Donate.

At the start of each week, this page will be updated with a new video or talk for you to reflect on and pray about throughout the week.

Join us on UCB1 and UCB2 where we’ll be praying each day during Lent, taking inspiration from the themes of the UCB Word for Today readings.

And we’ve created a bookmark to remind you of these themes and prayers as you journey through Lent. For your free bookmark, click here.
