Join the UCB choir! Application form

In 2024, UCB is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the UCB Word For Today. To mark this occasion, we'll be hosting a special celebration evening in West Bromwich (West Midlands) on the afternoon/evening of 29th June with inspirational speakers, worship, and true life stories. As we raise our voices in thanks to God for all He's done, we're looking for singers to join our 150-voice choir. Perhaps you could be one of them?

Before deciding if this is the right role for you, please read through the following:

1. You'll need to be a committed Christian and be in fellowship with a local church (we might ask for a pastoral reference).
2. You'll need to be part of a church worship team or choir or in an established singing group.
3. You need to be able to sing in tune and in unison with others. If you're accepted, you'll be sent a shortlist of Christian worship songs to learn, and you'll be asked to attend a rehearsal with the full choir on the afternoon of 29th June at the venue in West Bromwich. You'll need to be available from 3pm to approximately 11pm (to be confirmed) on 29th June 2024. 
4. You will need to be 18 years old or older.
5. You understand this is a short term unpaid singing opportunity, and although we're incredibly grateful for all our singers who willingly give up their time, we are not able to reimburse any expenses (travel or accommodation etc). 
6. You acknowledge the event will be filmed and photographed (and possibly live streamed), and that you are happy to appear in filming/photography which will be used across UCB's platforms.
