 OneHope (previously Book of Hope until 2009) began in 1987 when American Bob Hoskins was asked by El Salvador's Minister of Education to supply a Bible to every school child in the country; Bob Hoskins set out to achieve this goal. He was burdened to develop a special presentation of God's Word for students...that first book was entitled El Libro de Vida, or in English The Book of Hope.
The Book of Hope is the gospels of the Bible (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) harmonised and in chronological order. It includes the first two chapters of Acts, along with age appropriate activities, study questions and details of how the reader can ask Jesus into their heart and life. It is beautifully illustrated and there are many versions aimed at different age ranges of children. |
